Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not only one of the most tech-savvy political leaders of the present time but also quite active on social media network. He constantly gives updates about his foreign visits or any of his political meeting or public rally on Twitter. What’s more, he uses the platform to keep in touch with his friends all around the globe and wish them on their special days, like he wished Ashraf Ghani, President of Afghanistan on February 12 , thinking it’s his birthday, by making a tweet:
Happy birthday @ashrafghani. Praying for your long life & exceptional health and a joyful journey ahead.
— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) February 12, 2016
However, things got a little tizzy when in reply came a correction that Ashraf Ghani’s birthday is after three months:
@narendramodi Greetings from Munich Mr. PM. Although, my Birthday is on 19th May, but I'd still like to thank you for your gracious words 🙂
— Ashraf Ghani (@ashrafghani) February 12, 2016
Ashraf Ghani doesn’t give the mistake much importance but Twitter users were quick to criticize and this is how they took a jibe at Modi for wishing Ahsraf Ghani birthday on the wrong day:

However, it was later discovered that Google played an important role is this blunder:
.@ashrafghani @narendramodi looks like Google might need to update its date-of-birth database…. pic.twitter.com/rJuQ4kjIIU

So from the next time, when you search about something on Google, don’t be 100% sure of its correctness as Google too makes mistakes.
