MS Dhoni Defying Gravity, Flying In Air & Taking A Catch Is A Visual Treat, Watch The Video

Age is just a number for Thala

MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricketer, is currently playing in the IPL for his team Chennai Super Kings but this time, he is playing as a wicketkeeper-batter only as he has already given up captaincy and just before the start of the IPL 2024, Ruturaj Gaikwad was appointed as the new skipper of the team.

MS Dhoni is 42 yrs old and this IPL is most probably his last IPL as a player but even at this age, he is one of the quickest behind the wickets and in the last match against Gujarat Titans, he once again proved that age is just a number for him.

The match was played yesterday at Chepauk stadium, Chennai and currently a video is going viral in which MS Dhoni is seen diving in the air to his right to take the catch of Vijay Shankar on the bowling of Daryl Mitchell. It is really very pleasing for his fans to see their Thala defying gravity and flying in air and taking a catch.

As far as the match is concerned, the toss was won by GT and they decided to bowl first. CSK put up a good total of 206/6 on the scoreboard as their openers Ruturaj Gaikwad (46 runs) and Rachin Ravindra (46 runs) gave them a good start. Shivam Dube played a brilliant knock of 51 runs for which he played only 23 deliveries and his innings included 2 fours and 5 sixes.

In response, GT which is being led by Shubman Gill in this season could manage only 143/8 in their stipulated 20 overs. Shivam Dube was adjudged as the Player of the Match and CSK registered their consecutive second win in the tournament.

MS Dhoni certainly deserves all the applauds for maintaining his fitness despite the fact that he suffered a knee injury last year; he played the IPL 2023 with injured knee and underwent surgery just after the tournament got over.

MS Dhoni is still the best behind the wickets, agree?
