In the last match of Chennai Super Kings which they played against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai, MS Dhoni left the MI skipper Hardik Pandya shocked by hitting him for a hat-trick of sixes. Mahi came to bat after Daryl Mitchell got out at the second ball of the 20th over, Dhoni played 4 balls and remained not out at the score of 20 runs.

It won’t be wrong to say that these 20 runs was the difference between CSK and MI as the former won the match by 20 runs.

As far as the match is concerned, the toss was won by MI and they chose to bowl first. CSK lost Ajinkya Rahane quite early but the skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (69 runs, 40 balls, 5 fours & 5 sixes) and Shivam Dube (66 runs not out, 38 balls, 10 fours & 2 sixes) played brilliant knocks and helped their team in putting up a total of 206 runs on the score board.

MI could manage only 186/6 in their 20 overs despite a superb century by Rohit Sharma (105 runs not out, 63 balls, 11 fours & 5 sixes) and CSK won the match by 20 runs.

Matheesha Pathirana, the CSK bowler, was adjudged as the Player of the Match as he dismissed 4 batters and gave only 28 runs in his 4 overs.
