What is more worrying is that sometimes we also get to hear abusive language on the field and now an incident has taken place in which a cricketer has almost slapped another player of his team.

Bangladeshi cricketers who are presently busy playing in the 2020-21 Bangabandhu T20 Cup are pretty famous for their rude behavior on the field. Total five teams are taking part in this tournament which is being played for selecting the players for the 2021 T20 series that will be played between Bangladesh and West Indies.

After playing 20 matches, four teams have entered the play-offs and today (Monday), Beximco Dhaka and Fortune Barishal faced each other in the eliminator which was won by Beximco Dhaka that is led by Mushfiqur Rahim. However, what was noticed more was the irresponsible behaviour of Rahim and how he tried to hit his team’s player Nasum Ahmed when they both were running in for taking a catch.

In the 17th over of Fortune Barishal’s innings, Afif Hossain was looking in good touch, though his team needed 45 runs in 19 deliveries. Afif Hossain played a lofted shot in the air in the fine leg region and both wicketkeeper Rahim and Nasum ran to take the catch. Both the players collided but only after Rahim caught the ball and Afif had to return to the dug-out. However the skipper Mushfiqur Rahim lost his temper, almost slapped Nasum and also scolded him. Nasum seemed to be pretty afraid, the other players tried to calm down Rahim but he was still not getting silent.
