If your determination is strong you can achieve whatever you want, how difficult it may be it doesn’t matter. His Story gave choreographer-director Remo D’Souza inspiration to make a movie on him and he made ABCD2 and today he and his team made India proud by winning a medal in an International Championship.

We are talking about choreographer Suresh Mukund, his team Kings United took part in World Hip Dance Championships and won the bronze medal in the adult division. The championship was organized in San Diego, in which 200 teams from 50 countries participated. This 11 member team is the first Indian team to win a medal at such a highly-esteemed competition.

Suresh talked to India Today, one day before the finals, “We made a few flaws in the semis, or else we would have been first I guess as per scores.”

Suresh had been to World Hip Hop Championships earlier also in 2012 in Las Vegas when he and Vernon Monteiro participated with their group, Fictitious Group. That year they were the first team from India to participate in this championship and they reached the finals too, however they were not able to give performance. Suresh with Vernon made a team of dancers from Vasai and Nalasopara and formed the group Fictitious Group in 2009.

The role of Suresh Mukund was played by Varun Dhawan in ABCD2.
