Celebrities getting mocked on social media is nothing new but what’s more troublesome is that trollers don’t stop here and go on to target their children, parents, siblings, etc. as well. Abhishek Bachchan is a favourite of netizens who often take a jibe at him for not being so popular and successful as his father in the Hindi film industry.
However this time, someone targeted Amitabh’s daughter and Abhishek’s sister Shweta Nanda who is away from the acting world. She has tied the knot with Nikhil Nanda and has two children – daughter Navya Naveli and son Agastya Nanda. Navya has lately started a new venture known as “Project Naveli” which deals with issues such as domestic violence, education, gender inequality, mental and physical health, etc.
Recently a woman made an unpleasant comment on Shweta Nanda for not doing any work and this comment was written on a post featuring Navya’s interview with regard to her latest venture.
The troller’s comment read, “What work does her mother do? LOL”
Although Shweta didn’t respond, Navya gave the woman a befitting reply as she wrote, “She’s an author, writer, designer, wife & mother”.
This was not all as Navya shared the comment and her reply on her Instagram story with a powerful caption that read, “Being a mother & wife is a full time job. Please don’t discredit women who are homemakers! Their role is so crucial in the upbringing of a generation that will hopefully support their contribution instead of tearing it down.”
Well, that’s certainly a beautiful reply from a daughter for someone who tried to target her mother and that too, despite being a woman herself.
