The coronavirus pandemic has forced us to change our lifestyle in various aspects but it won’t be wrong to say that it has also taught us many important lessons. In simple words, it has made us think about our real priorities and also made us realize that we were wasting our lives running after those things which are of not much use to us.
Recently, the Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened up about the lessons that he learnt from the coronavirus pandemic. During an interview with a leading daily, the “Raman Raghav 2.0” star said that it made him understand money doesn’t guarantee happiness always. As per him, he also realised that for a long time, he was running after unnecessary things in life. He further said that because of this phase, he understood there is no need of running after work and how wrong those people are who feel that life becomes awesome after a person earns good money.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui also says that these tough times have also taught us the power of unity and it is pretty clear that the more we help each other in these times, the more we increase our chances of winning this fight.
Some time ago, the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” actor slammed the Bollywood celebs who were visiting Maldives for vacations and posting their photos on the social media handles. Nawaz criticised them for displaying their privilege in the times when many people lost their jobs and are struggling for earning their livelihoods.
When Nawaz was asked whether he has any plans of visiting Maldives, he made it clear that he is in his hometown Budhana with his family and Budhana is his Maldives.
There is no denying the fact that money won’t guarantee happiness as many rich and influential also succumbed to the lethal virus or they could not save their loved ones.
