Everywhere around the world, women are constantly under tremendous pressure to look their best. They have to be in perfect shape and look their fashionable best at all times.
Even if they’ve just given birth a few months ago.
It is common sense that if you’ve just given birth, it’s going to take some time before you go back to your normal body shape. Do you realize how grossly wrong the entire concept of being a ‘yummy mummy’ is?
It sets unrealistic goals for mothers everywhere. Recently, Neha Dhupia became the victim of online trolling. She was slammed for gaining post pregnancy weight.
Neha Dhupia along with husband Angad Bedi welcomed a baby girl some months back. They named their adorable baby girl Mehr.
We also cannot afford to miss Neha’s absolutely stylish outings, where she is all happy and beaming with joy. She is looking a gorgeous mother though.
But, recently an online site slammed Neha Dhupia for gaining weight after her pregnancy. This obviously didn’t go quite well with the actress, who had the perfect reply for the trolls around her.
Check this Instagram post by Neha Dhupia herself.

I don’t owe anyone an explanation because fatshaming like this doesn’t bother me one bit. But I do want to address this as a larger problem because fatshaming needs to stop for EVERYONE not just celebs. As a new mom i want to be fit, healthy and energetic for my daughter. So I work out everyday, sometimes twice a day because for me…’Fitness’ is a priority and not ‘fitting into’ society’s standards regarding looks. And I hope in the future people are kinder to each other while making such vapid and vile comments. To quote @pattonoswalt … “Be Kind. It’s chaos out there.”
Even Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar supported her. Check this tweet by him.
Neha! You are an amazing Woman! You walk so many paths with humour…with intelligence and with abandon! It’s never about losing weight it’s always about gaining perspective! And I hope the woman who wrote this has gained some today…. https://t.co/VhlGJtM4Oj

Earlier also we got to see how people fat shammed actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. These are really intolerable when the basic concern should always be fitness and good health.
