New Zealand Boy Copies Jasprit Bumrah’s Bowling Action Perfectly, Chahal Has An Epic Reaction

Jasprit Bumrah, the young Indian pacer, is termed as one of the best fast bowlers of the present time and there is no denying the fact that if India has to win the upcoming T20I World Cup 2020, a lot will depend on Bumrah as well. However, his unusual bowling action also made him pretty popular and it won’t be wrong to say that it is quite difficult to copy as well.

Nevertheless it is definitely surprising to see that a kid from Auckland, New Zealand, copied Bumrah’s action in a perfect manner. A Twitter user shared a video in which the kid is seen copying the bowling action of Jasprit Bumrah while bowling and it is so similar to that of Bumrah that even the former New Zealand cricketer Scott Styris praised the kid as well as shared the video.

Before the start of the 2nd ODI which was played between India and New Zealand in Auckland, the video was shown to Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal by former New Zealand cricketer Simon Doull who asked for their opinion. While Bumrah laughed after seeing the kid copying his bowling action, Chahal once again came up with a cheeky answer and called the boy’s action better than Bumrah’s action. Yuzi said, “It’s better than Bumrah”.

Talking about the ODI series, the hosts have won the series as they are already leading by 2-0. While in the first ODI, New Zealand chased a huge total of 347 and defeated India, in the second ODI, New Zealand scored 273/8 after they were invited to bat first by the Indians. With the help of some brilliant bowling performances, the hosts were able to stop visitors at the score of 251 and won the match by 22 runs.

This must be a big surprise for Indians as just some time ago, they whitewashed the T20I series by 5-0. Hopefully, Indians will bounce back in the third ODI which will be played on 11th February at Bay Oval.
