Every human being is free to practice his/her religion and follow its beliefs as we know that each religion has some norms and customs and practicing them is the duty of all individuals belonging to a particular creed.
There are five Articles of Faith which Khalsa Sikhs always wear, as Guru Gobind Singh commanded. These Five Ks determine identity of Khalsa devotees as well as their commitment to Sikh way of life. The Five Ks are Kirpan (a strapped short sword or knife with a curved blade), Kara (a metal bracelet), Kesh (uncut hair), Kangha (comb) and Kachera (cotton undergarment) and the one who wears them is considered a Sikh.
Sikhs are known for their valor and heroic spirit in addition to kind heart and benevolent nature. Here we present a short story which brilliantly confirms the same! A newlywed couple took a taxi whose driver happened to be a Sikh who was carrying Kirpan which scared the girl. She kept on staring at the weapon in fear and shared the same with her husband. And then something happened which made the couple cry but they were tears of happiness and regret!
