Padmaavat Row: Karni Sena Couldn’t Ban Movie So They Banned Bhansali In Rajasthan

Things may seem to get better for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmaavat” but it can’t be said that all the problems related to the flick and the director are over.

However, Rajputs and Karni Sena are still determined not to let “Padmaavat” release and they have already issued warnings that they will vandalise the theatres which will screen the movie. These groups believe that the flick has portrayed their Queen in a bad light and it is an attempt to hurt their sentiments.

If you remember, the movie was supposed to release on December 1, 2017, and it is already delayed by almost 2 months now. The film has been approved by CBFC with some modifications and its name has also been changed to “Padmaavat” from “Padmavati”.

As per a report by CNN-News 18, the protests are getting stronger as the date of release is coming near and Rajputs and Karni sena have now decided to ban Sanjay Leela Bhansali from shooting in Rajasthan ever again.

They have also threatened that they will not let Prasoon Joshi and his team attend the Jaipur Literature Fest, which is starting from January 25 as Prasoon Joshi is the chief of CBFC which has approved “Padmaavat” with certain modifications.

Even if every other thing goes right, “Padmaavat” will be clashing with Akshay Kumar starrer “Padman” and it may hamper its business to some extent.

Which movie will you prefer watch first – “Padmaavat” or “Padman”?
