The tweet read, “#ZubairAhmed young #cricketer From mardan #KPK received a short pitch delivery hit upon his head and died during match #ICC #Cricket #PCB”
Zubair Ahmed was from Fakhar Zaman’s Academy. Hours before Zubair’s death, even David Warner (Australia) was hit by a bouncer delivered by Josh Hazlewood in a practice match; if you remember, Phillip Hughes also died in the same way 3 years ago in Sydney during Sheffield Shield match.
Head protection is very necessary while playing cricket; a small hit can claim a life. We are really shocked to hear about Zubair; may his soul rest in peace.
