We have seen many times that political workers of every party are ready to do anything to make their bosses happy and they don’t mind harming others in the process. One such example has been visualized in the Kovuru town of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, where the party workers of Congress party killed pigeons so that the Andhra Pradesh Congress Chief N Raghuveera Reddy, can be given a grand welcome, as he came to attend a party function.
The pigeons were put live in rocket cones and the rockets were fired when Reddy came, leading to the death of the pigeons.
An FIR has been registered against the AP unit of Congress by an NGO, People For Animals for the cruelty they have shown towards the birds. No comment has been made by the local unit of Congress party.
