The Rawalpindi-based team Rawalpindi Pindiz has had a tough debut campaign. Led by Rizwan, the side has lost six matches in a row and is currently sitting at the bottom of the points table. Despite these setbacks, the captain is not ready to give up.
In a recent video shared by the franchise, Rizwan was seen motivating his teammates in the dressing room. He encouraged them to keep believing in themselves, reminding everyone that half of the tournament is still left. His message was simple, no matter how small the chance is, the team must keep fighting and stay hopeful.
To inspire his players, Rizwan shared a past experience from his time with Multan Sultans. He recalled how that team had also started poorly, losing their first four matches and coming close to elimination. However, they turned things around by winning several games in a row and eventually became champions. Through this example, he tried to show that comebacks are always possible.
He also told his teammates to play like champions, regardless of the results. According to him, losing is part of the game but the team should never stop fighting or lose confidence. He emphasised enjoying the process and staying united as a group.

While the local players seemed to respond positively to his speech, the overseas members of the team including Sam Billings, Daryl Mitchell and bowling coach Courtney Walsh appeared slightly confused, possibly because the speech was delivered in Urdu.
