PM Modi Slams Parties Who Oppose This Ban! Says They Have Stopped Getting Money Garlands!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the opposition parties for opposing demonetization decision of his government. While addressing a public rally in Ghazipur for BJP’s Parivartan Yatra on Monday, he targeted the opposition parties, especially Congress, saying that the poor are praising his decision and it is the corrupt who can’t sleep now.

Here’s what he said,

“After demonetisation, the poor are enjoying a sound sleep while the rich are running from pillar to post to buy sleeping pills.”

In response to the opposition’s allegations that he is responsible for the problems that the poor are facing, he has stated that he is more aware of the problems faced by the common people.

In his words,

“You (Congress) issue statements. I feel the pulse of the poor.”

Slamming the opposition, he spoke,

“Some political parties are worried after demonetization… They used to get huge garlands of notes…only option now is to put the ₹500 and ₹1000 notes in waste paper basket.”

He further added,

“Some people wear a smile on the face, they even say Modi ji you have done a good job. But they instigate their party workers to oppose my decision.”

He didn’t take any names but it is understandable that he was indicating towards Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Aam Aadmi Party.

PM Modi further said,

“I know I will face a lot of hardships as those having lots of cash are very powerful people but I have undertaken this fight for the poor.”

PM Modi has been getting accolades from all the corners for his demonetization decision but the opposition parties are also not leaving any stone unturned in opposing him.
