PM Narendra Modi Is No Longer A ‘CHOWKIDAR’, Removes The Prefix From His Twitter Handle

PM Narendra Modi is no longer a ‘chowkidar‘. Just hours after the results of the Lok Sabha election indicating the enormous victory for the Bhartiya Janta Party.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening removed the prefix ‘Chowkidar’ (watchman) from his official twitter handle and Bhartiya Janta Party president Amit Shah also dropped the title while others follow the suit.

PM Narendra Modi wrote on Twitter, the people of India ‘rendered great service to the nation’.

On twitter PM Narendra Modi wrote, “Now, the time has come to take the Chowkidar Spirit to the next level.

Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani and Minister of Coal and railways Piyush Goyal are among the BJP leaders who dropped the titles.
