“Pokemon Go” Caused Horrible Accident As Man Stops In Mid Of Highway To Catch Pikachu?

Talking on mobile phone while driving was already a great concern as it causes a number of road accidents and now people have started playing video games while driving which has further increased the chances of accidents.

In Massachusetts, Lamar Hickson, a 26 yrs old driver, has been arrested by the police on charges of causing one of the worst highway accidents. Lamar was playing “Pokemon Go” on the newly launched Pokemon app while driving and he stopped his vehicle mid-highway to catch a Pikachu.

This is what he told the cops,

“Sh*t if you wanna catch them all you gotta risk it all so I put my car in park and started tossing these balls”.

What charges will be framed on Hickson are not confirmed yet. Good part is that no one has been seriously injured; however, it has definitely raised an alarm and playing games while driving can also play a big role in future accidents. In fact, one of the victims told that he was too playing game.

In the words of Fredrick Jones, an officer,

“Texting and driving was already a very serious issue, but now playing Pokemon Go and driving could make things worse.”

The officer further said that now the accidents taking place because of mobiles can increase by double or triple. Since then hashtag #dontpokemongoanddrive is trending on the social media networks.

These kind of Pokemon Go related hoaxes are spreading like virus on internet. Well even this story is fake. Nothing like such happened. This accident image is an old image that is circulating on internet on the name of Pokemon Go.
