Pragyan Ojha Talks About Rohit Sharma’s Struggles, Says He Used To Deliver Milk Packets

The skipper of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma is one of the most popular and loved cricketers of the present time and a lot is expected from him as he is going to lead the team in the WTC finals and the ICC ODI World Cup this year. Rohit Sharma will also be leading his IPL team Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2023 which is starting from 31st March 2023 but some reports suggest that he won’t be playing each match in order to manage his workload as well as to safeguard himself from injuries.

Rohit shares a good bond with the former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha and in a show, the latter talked about his experience with the former and also revealed some interesting and unknown facts about Hitman.

Pragyan and Rohit also played together for the IPL team Deccan Chargers (now defunct) in the year 2008. Pragyan stated that he met Rohit for the first time in 2015 and everyone was calling Rohit a special player. As per Pragyan, Rohit was like a typical Mumbai guy who spoke less but was aggressive while playing and this surprised Ojha because he thought as to why Rohit was being so aggressive against him when they both did not even know each other in a proper manner.

Pragyan further said that their friendship grew with time, Rohit Sharma belonged to a middle class family and once he got a little emotional while telling that his budget for the kit was limited and there was a time when he had to deliver milk packets in order to collect money for his kit.

Pragyan Ojha states that now he feels very happy for Rohit after seeing what all he has achieved, especially after knowing from where he has started.

Ojha also reveals that Rohit Sharma is good in doing mimicry, he is a prankster as well and during their under-19 days, he used to ease the pressure by making people laugh. Pragyan Ojha also talked about how Rohit Sharma guided him in regard to bowling aggressively in the T20 cricket and taking wickets when they both were playing for DC in the IPL.

Rohit Sharma is certainly a special player and everyone wants to see him lifting the ODI World Cup trophy.
