Shubman Gill has become the youngest player to score 3000 runs in the IPL and he achieved this feat at the age of 24 years and 215 days old. Earlier this record was in the name of Virat Kohli who completed 3000 runs in the IPL when he was 26 years and 186 days old.

Shubman Gill is also the fourth fastest to score 3000 runs as he managed to touch the 3K mark in 94 innings and he has tied with David Warner and Faf du Plessis. The fastest cricketer to touch the 3K mark is Universe Boss, Chris Gayle (75 innings) and on the second position, we once again have an Indian and he is KL Rahul (80 innings) followed by Jos Buttler (85 innings).

Shubman Gill will have to perform well if India has to win the T20 World Cup which is going to take place in June in USA and West Indies.
