Leg pulling is not something new in politics and it is happening in the world much longer than we remember.
Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to pull the leg of rival party Congress as he took a dig at it using the name of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. PM had reportedly said that the Congress does not even consider their CM their own in Punjab and he fights like an independent soldier.
This didn’t go well with Amarinder Singh who seems to be really angry.
Amarinder Singh took to Twitter and scolded Narendra Modi for these statements and also alleged him for trying to create differences between him and party.
He tweeted-
Who told you that @narendramodi ji? Not me for sure. Did the @INCIndia high command complain to you against me? Anyways, let me make it clear that such frivolous statements won’t help you create a wedge between me and my party, which has full faith in my leadership & vice versa.
