Although “Raazi” is a women-centric movie, it surprised people with the exceptional figures on the first day as the film collected Rs 7.53 crore. It’s the highest opener as far as women-centric movies are concerned.
Word of mouth played an important role in the massive growth of around 50% on the second day collections. “Raazi” earned whopping Rs 11.30 crore on Saturday, so the total earnings of the movie so far is Rs 18.83 crore.

Meghna Gulzar’s “Raazi” is inspired from Harinder Sikka’s novel entitled “Calling Sehmat” and Alia is playing the role of an Indian spy who ties knot with a Pakistani army officer and passes on the secret information of Pak to the Indian authorities.
With the strong word of mouth, bumper opening and outstanding second day collections, the movie is expected to grow further and collect around Rs 31 crore in the opening weekend.
