Rinku Singh is certainly one of the most talented cricketers of the present young generation and it won’t be wrong to say that he is grabbing each and every opportunity with both hands and using it to the maximum.
Recently, Rinku Singh scored his second T20I half-century in the match which India played against Afghanistan. In the third T20I of the 3-match series, India was reeling at the score of 22/4 when Rinku Singh arrived on the crease to bat with his skipper Rohit Sharma and the youngster scored 69 runs for which he played only 39 balls. Rinku Singh and Rohit Sharma stitched a partnership of 190 runs which is the highest partnership between Indian batters in T20Is.
Not just fans but many former Indian cricketers were full of praises for Rinku Singh and recently, Rinku’s teammate from Kolkata Knight Riders, Afghanistan wicket-keeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz showered praises on Rinku Singh. He even went on to say that Rinku can carry forward the legacy of Indian legends MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz states that undoubtedly Rinku Singh is really a good cricketer and a good finisher as well and the most important thing is that whenever he comes to bat, he tries to watch the ball. Gurbaz further says that Rinku is always looking to hit the ball and he is a very clever cricketer who knows how to adjust as per the situation and he has all the qualities to become the next finisher for India.
When Rahmanullah was asked whether he can carry forward the legacy of MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh, he said why not, the manner in which Rinku has been performing at the moment is unbelievable and he has performed well against each team. Gurbaz adds that Rinku is young and pretty determined to go out and prove himself, he is hungry and is ready to work hard which is a good thing about the Indian cricketer.
Rinku Singh is certainly the cricketer to look for and many feel that he has already confirmed his place in the T20 squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
