The Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao’s latest release Stree 2 has created a storm at the box-office as the movie has earned more than Rs. 500 crores worldwide in just 10 days after its release.
The lead actors – Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are still doing promotions and during a podcast, Rajkummar was asked a question related to his surname.
If you are not aware of the matter, let us tell you that Rajkummar Rao’s original surname is Yadav but he has changed it to Rao.
When Rajkummar was asked the question regarding change in surname, he said, “Aisa koi rule nahin hai. Maine kabhi surname use kiya nahi tha. Mere passport mein bhi sirf Rajkummar hee tha (There’s no such rule. I had never used a surname before. Even in my passport, it’s just Rajkummar). This is for people to not get confused as to which Rajkummar you are talking about. Rajkummar Hirani, Santoshi, Gupta or this one. And Rao is a title which is given to Yadavs, so I started using it.”

The movie “Stree 2” is a sequel of 2018 released “Stree”, both the movies have been directed by Amar Kaushik and the old team from the first movie – Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee have reprised their roles from the first part in the second part.
While an evil female spirit scared the people of Chanderi in the first part, in the second part, the female spirit has left the town and now a headless demon is making lives of the Chanderi residents difficult.
Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan have done cameos in the movie while actress Tamannaah Bhatia has set the screen on fire with an item song.
