As per Kirad, his cell was near the cell of Baba and he could hear his screams at night. Here’s what he told mediapersons,

“He would say things like ‘What is my fault, what have I done?’ He would cry in the night and request authorities to not lock him in the cell because he feels afraid.”

Kirad said that Baba had been living a luxurious lifestyle and is habitual of the same. He has not eaten his food ever since he was brought there; however, he made a demand of mineral water and was given Bisleri from the canteen of the jail. He added,

“All prisoners have their accounts in jail. He was given bottled mineral water from jail canteen after opening his account. He would not eat jail food, but had fruits that were given to him as per jail manual.”

The self-proclaimed godman was very upset on the day of his sentence and he was unable to even walk properly. “Since then, he has maintained a low profile and has not eaten much,” said Kirad.

He further said that Baba is wearing T-shirt and capri; however, Sunil Sangwan, the jail superintendent, stated that he would not be allowed to put on personal dress.

On account of high security in the prison, other prisoners were feeling as if “they were jailed inside the jail”. In his words,

“All our rights were suspended. We could not meet our families, not talk to them on phone like we used to every day for five minutes and not go for court hearings. My bail was sanctioned by high court on August 24, but I had to stay for longer.”

Finally he came out on 30th August. There has been no information regarding the Dera chief from jail officials.
