Ranveer Singh is riding high on the success of his last three films Padmaavat, Simmba and Gully Boy which turned out to be huge hits at the Box Office.
The rising Bollywood superstar is all set to start work on his next film titled ’83 which is based on Indian Cricket Team’s 1983 World cup victory and then his Karan Johar’s Takht lined up as well.
Ranveer was recently present at the announcement of 64th Vimal Filmfare Awards. Speaking at the event, he recalled his recent meeting with PM Narendra Modi and shared what PM told Ranveer during the meeting.
Ranveer shared that he had a very pleasant meeting with Narendra Modi along with the other film fraternity members in which PM told them to choose content that has a message of inclusive India and unity.
Ranveer then said that he happily reported him that his next film ’83 is one such film where it’s truly team India. He shared with PM how ’83 is about making the country proud and how he is proud to be a part of the film.
