The Indian cricket team will look forward to win the 2nd T20I against Australia which is going to be played tomorrow at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur, Maharashtra, so that its hopes of winning the series remain alive but for this purpose, it will need to perform in a far better manner than how it performed in the first T20I.

While bowling was lackluster, fielding was pretty poor; there was one incident which left not just the Indian skipper furious but fans and the former cricketers and experts unhappy as well. We are talking about the incident in which wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik and bowler Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t even appeal for review for Cameron Green’s lbw despite the fact that the ball hit the pads and it would have gone to hit the stumps. The Indian players were shocked after seeing the replay and Hitman didn’t hide his anger and said few words to the wicketkeeper and the bowler.

The former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar stated that it was a straight delivery, the batter went for sweep but India didn’t opt for review despite the fact that the ball would have hit the stumps.

The former Indian cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri said that DK might have got confused because of the height or line as the ball hit the pads in a nice and clean manner. He further added that a wicketkeeper’s role is of utmost importance in terms of taking DRS (Decision Review System) and MS Dhoni was very good at it.

Dhoni was known for his great decision taking skills and he was so successful in terms of DRS that his fans started calling it Dhoni Review System.

Australia won the T20I match by 4 wickets as it chased down the target of 208 with four balls remaining in its innings and Cameron Green was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his beautiful knock of 61.

Let’s hope that such mistakes don’t get repeated again.
