4 youngsters killed a 10th class student just because he got friendly with some girl of their locality. Being a resident of Gautam Nagar, Roshan Dongle was killed by Piyush Ghodeswar, Sonu Sawarkar, Mithun and Chandu Maske. The incident happened near Gaddigodam area’s railway tracks on Wednesday afternoon.
As per the police, Dongle was very friendly with a girl staying in the same locality. He was seen roaming and chatting with her. The accused didn’t like this friendship and had warned Dongle several times.

However, in spite of such warnings he just didn’t stop meeting the girl. On Wednesday, when Dongle went to meet the girl, the accused didn’t like it and they started fighting with him. This argument resulted in a fight and Dongle was hit on the neck, due to which he collapsed. The accused were panicked and rushed him to the nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
Since the police were misled by the accused, an accidental death was registered. However, when information was sought about the injuries of Dongle, the police proved that he died owing to this hit on the neck. This case was then changed to murder.
Police then arrested Piyush Ghodeswar, Sonu Sawarkar and Chandu Maske. However, Mithun, Maske’s brother who is the 4th accused is still absconding.
