These days, when celebrities prefer giving diplomatic answers to avoid getting into controversies, there is Anushka Sharma who is ready to speak her mind out. Yes, she doesn’t think twice before speaking in front of public or media and whatever is on her mind, she lets it out.
Moreover, she is also known for her diverse roles in movies and above all her ‘Bindaas’ attitude, which is always appreciated. Anushka even gives it back perfectly to the media whenever she feels there is too much interference in her personal life.
Being a small town girl, Anushka has never let her thinking patterns change. Even though she is extremely popular in the Bollywood industry, her thoughts and approach are simple and subtle, just like other girls of her age.
Recently, there is a lot of buzz surrounding the love affair of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli and I am sure many of you might be having that question in your mind as to when is Anushka getting married, isn’t it? Well, in an interview with a leading daily, a reporter asked Anushka her marriage plans and her replies were bang-on.
The reporter asked Anushka whether her parents or relatives put pressure on her for marriage, on which she replied
“Not at all! Nobody would dare ask my family about my marriage. My parents are very progressive, though they come from a small town. It’s all in our minds. Nobody would even dare to ask me when my brother is getting married. And if they do, my parents say, ‘Unki life hai, jab unko karna hai woh karenge, humko kuch lena nahi hai unki shaadi se.’ And asking for grandchildren is such a selfish motive for getting married. I don’t understand this fascination and obsession with people’s marriages. When Rani Mukerji got married, nobody knew.”
When asked about her marriage plans, she says
“I want to get married ,of course. I would like to have a family. Even though I am an actor, I am a very simple and normal person and I have always maintained a simple life. I feel marriage will happen when it has to. I will get married when I am mentally ready for it. A marriage is not a joke. It’s not like ‘Oh shaadi hai toh karle!’ You have to be mentally ready to spend your life with another person. It’s not just about you, but about the other person also and then at that point you need to be ready to have a dual interest. Mentally, when I reach that stage, I will get married.”
