Many people are extending support to Sonu Nigam after he shaved off his head in response to the so called Fatwa issued against him. The Muslim cleric who denied to give him Rs 10 lakhs and backed off from his promise is receiving a lot of criticism from everyone.

Well, Sonu’s reaction has definitely shocked his fans as well as his family. Since all this happened very suddenly, fans were left confused and didn’t know how to react.
Speaking about his son, Sonu says, “Nevaan (son) was shocked to see me like this (shaved head) today. But this had to be done.”
A Mid-Day reporter who got in touch with Sonu to check if he is disturbed after this whole incident; Sonu was quoted as saying,
“I hope this evokes a sense of being reasonable in this country. I am not a left wing or right wing person. I am right in the centre. We need more people who don’t just talk aggressive stuff, and make sense.”
Talking about the Maulvi, Sonu Nigam says,
“I don’t give access to people. He is not that significant anyway. I knew he would back down.”
