Every actor, director, writer, cinematographer, etc who is associated with moviemaking likes to get his work recognized and appreciated and there is no denying the fact that the National Awards is the biggest award of India that an artist can get.
Recently, the announcement regarding the National Award Winners 2024 was made and as expected, “Kantara” and “KGF 2” were the biggest winners. While Malayalam movie “Aattam” won the award for the best feature film, “Kantara” won the award for the most popular film. “Gulmohar” won the award for Best Hindi Feature Film Award and Manoj Bajayee got special mention for the same movie.
Rishab Shetty won the best actor award and this time two actresses – Nithya Menon and Maansi Paarekh shared the best actress award. The award for the best director has been won by Sooraj Barjatya for his movie “Uunchai” and senior actress Neena Gupta won the award for best supporting actress for the same film.
While Pritam won the best music director for the music that he gave in “Brahmastra”, the legendary musician A. R Rahman won the best background music award for Maniratnam directed “Ponniyin Selvan 2”. “Brahmastra” also won the best VFX award and Arijit Singh won the best playback singer male for the same movie.
