The matches between India and Pakistan are much hyped and for fans of both sides, victory against the other team has more value than winning the trophy. However, the players of both the teams have cordial relations between them and though they are under pressure while they are on the ground yet most of the times, they ensure that whatever happens on the field stays on the field and off-the-field they share a good bond with each other.

The T20 World Cup 2022 will be played in Australia and recently, the skipper of all the 16 teams came together for interaction with mediapersons. The skippers came in two groups of 8 each and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Pakistani skipper Babar Azam were part of the same group.

When they both are asked as to what they talk about during the match, Babar Azam says that Rohit Sharma is senior to him (“ye bade hai mujhse”) so he tries to learn from his experience as Hitman has served so much and has played for a long time so his (Rohit’s) teaching can be beneficial for him and other Pakistani players.

Rohit Sharma is also asked to speak in this regard and he says that what Babar has said is completely correct because there is no point talking about the match and building more pressure within themselves so whenever they meet Pakistani players like they have met in the Asia Cup 2022 and now here, players from both the sides just talk about normal things such as how family is, what’s going on in life, etc. Rohit Sharma adds that the players of earlier generation have also told them that they talk about normal things- for example, which is the new car they have bought or which new car they are going to buy.
