The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is certainly one of the greatest cricketers of all times and in the recently concluded ICC ODI World Cup 2023, he broke one more record of legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
Earlier, the record for the most number of centuries in ODIs was in the name of Sachin Tendulkar as he had 49 ODI centuries but in the semi-final match against New Zealand, Virat Kohli broke this record as he smashed his 50th ODI century and helped his team in winning the match.
The former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has now reacted on this matter and he has expressed his happiness over the fact that Virat Kohli has broken his record and he is sure that his journey hasn’t stopped as well. Little Master further said Virat Kohli has a lot of cricket left in him, he has a lot of runs left in him and there is a lot of hunger and desire in him for performing for the country.
Sachin Tendulkar further said that he is happy that the record is still with India, he added that he always felt that the record belonged to India and it has continued to stay with the country.
Virat Kohli scored 765 runs in the recently concluded ICC ODI World Cup 2023 and this was the highest score by any cricketer in a single edition of the World Cup. He smashed 3 centuries and 6 fifties at an average of 95.62.
Hopefully, Virat Kohli will score many more centuries in the future as well.
