Netflix India’s original crime thriller series Sacred Games after the long anticipation of 405 days released on 15 August. Sacred Games’ is co-directed by Anurag Kashyap and Massan famed Vikramaditya Motwani based on Vikram Chandra’s best-selling novel.

Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi and Kalki Koechlin starrer “Sacred Games 2″ are dominating the social media and the brains of the youth. The new season has created a buzz and fans are going gaga over the mind-boggling cliffhanger ending and they’re cribbing for a clarity of season 3.

Sacred Games’ is said to be the new Indian Game seems like fans are literally taking everything seriously which is shown in the series. Even though the show didn’t use the number properly, but Netflix used it in the subtitles.

An Indian expat residing in Sharjah, UAE has received numerous undesired calls from India, Pakistan, Nepal and from other countries. The phone number of Kerala’s native Kunhabdulla CM’s phone number was used in the first episode of the crime thriller as the phone number of the character Sulaiman Isa’s phone number.


According to the reports of Gulf news, Kunhabdulla works in an oil company who has no clue what Sacred Games is about nor he has any clue about it.

Kunhabdulla said, hearing my phone ring sends shivers down my back. I want to cancel my number. I want this problem to go away. What is Sacred Games? A video game? I work from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. I don’t have time for these things.


He further told to Gulf news, I received more than 30 calls on Sunday and it’s draining my battery. In the last hour, I received five calls they were asking for someone called Isa. Who is Isa? I don’t have anything to do with him.

The news instantly went viral on social media and Netflix issued an apology stating, We apologize for any inconvenience caused. As soon as we were alerted to the situation, we resolved the issue and removed the phone number from the subtitles.
