Her last two movies “Kedarnath” and “Simmba” performed well at the box-office and her acting in both the flicks was also praised by audiences, making her one of the most promising actresses of present times.

If you have even a little knowledge about Bollywood movies, you must be knowing that in “Love Aaj Kal”, one of the lead roles was played by Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan and aside from him, Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor were also seen in prominent roles.

Lately the market of rumours was abuzz with the news that Saif is going to be a part of the sequel as well and his role will be based on the lines of Rishi Kapoor’s character of the first part. However, now the rumours have been put to rest as Saif himself has made it clear that he is not a part of the sequel of “Love Aaj Kal”.

While giving an interview to an entertainment portal, Saif says that honestly he likes to play every role which is interesting enough and if he has time for it, adding that Imtiaz Ali did offer him a role in the movie.

He further stated that it was very nice of the director to consider him for the role but he hasn’t signed the film and the entire buzz about his presence in the sequel is wrong.

According to him, it is a lovely movie and he is pretty excited that Sara is working with Imtiaz. The “Race 2” actor also wished luck to both the youngsters Sara and Kartik.

2019 is a pretty busy year for Saif as soon he will be seen in the second season of Sacred Games and he also has four movies to release this year – Ajay Devgn’s ambitious project “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior”, horror movie “Bhooth Police” by Pawan Kriplani, Nitin Kakkar’s “Jawaani Jaaneman” and “Hunter” by Navdeep Singh.

The sequel of “Love Aaj Kal” will release on the Valentine’s Day next year.
