Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher starrer “Ghoomer” may not have been able to perform well at the box-office but it is getting praised by many as it is based on sports and shows the struggle of a sportsperson.
R Balki directed movie released in theatres on 18 August and it is facing stiff competition from Sunny Deol starrer “Gadar 2” and Akshay Kumar starrer “OMG 2” because of which it is not able to earn much at the box-office. However, every person who has watched the movie is in love with the acting performances of Saiyami Kher and Abhishek Bachchan, while the former plays the character of paraplegic athlete (cricketer), the latter plays the role of a cricket coach. The film which also stars Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi in important roles was also loved by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and he was so impressed with the acting of Saiyami Kher that he wrote a letter for her.
This has been revealed by Saiyami Kher herself on her Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts in which she also shows what Big B has written for her. In her Instagram post, Saiyami posted three photos; in the first one, she is sitting on a chair with the letter in hands with a bouquet beside her; in the second image, she posted the photo of the letter and in the third and in the last photo, she is seen standing in front of Amitabh Bachchan and this photo is from the sets of quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati when she visited the sets for the promotion of her movie.
Saiyami wrote a long post in which she talked about her love and respect for Amitabh Bachchan, what this letter means to her and how much Amitabh Bachchan is loved by her family members as well.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his letter, “Saiyami, In admiration–your grit, your sincerity, your level-headedness performance, and the brilliance of your presence in Ghoomer. May the accolades never diminish for you. Love and regard (Amitabh’s signature).”

On X, she shared the pics with the caption, “I remember seeing a film called ‘Looking for Amitabh’ on how the visually challenged perceive this icon. Describing his trademark baritone to the sound of his shoes, the scent of his perfume. We don’t even see Mr. Bachchan, but we can experience the impact created by this superstar”.
