Samantha Ruth Prabhu has secured the title of the ‘Most Popular Female Film Star in India’, according to a report by Ormax.
The actress outperformed big names like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara and Shraddha Kapoor to claim the top spot. While Samantha leads the list, Alia Bhatt grabbed the second position and Deepika Padukone secured the third spot. South sensations Nayanthara and Kajal Aggarwal claimed the fourth and the fifth positions, respectively whereas Shraddha Kapoor who is on cloud nine with the smashing success of Stree 2 has got the 6th spot.

Additionally, Samantha has begun filming for Rakt Brahmand, an action-fantasy series directed by Rahi Anil Barve and produced by Raj and DK. The cast of Rakt Brahmand includes Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Aditya Roy Kapur, with the series set in a fictional kingdom. According to reports, this marks Raj & DK’s first venture into the action-fantasy genre, adding to the excitement surrounding the project.
