Karan Johar finally announced his upcoming much awaited biggie “Kalank” that has been in talks for a long time. Earlier, the film starring Abhishek Varman was supposed to have Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi in lead.
The untimely demise of Sridevi shocked the industry and even the film. Later, Janhvi Kapoor announced that Madhuri Dixit will be replacing her mother Sridevi in Karan Johar film.
There were reports in between that Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit may not come together for this film considering their relationship in past. However, KJo is known to do the big things and this time he has done it again.
Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit will be indeed coming together for Kalank and it was officially announced today as the team released the poster of the film.
The poster makes the grand announcement and also reveals much more than we expected. This upcoming biggie of Dharma Productions will not just star Varun, Alia, Sanjay and Madhuri but also Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in lead.
Now this is some great starcast to put together and makes the film among the biggest ones of 2019.
The film has gone on floors from today and is expected to release on 19th April 2019.
