Sarfraz Ahmed Tried To Copy MS Dhoni But Failed Miserably. Watch The Video

Sarfraz Ahmed, the captain of Pakistani cricket team, must be quite happy as his team has clean swept the series against Zimbabwe by 5-0.

However, he didn’t perform well when he tried to copy former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and failed to a great extent.

In the final match of the series, Sarfraz removed his wicket-keeping gloves and pads and asked Fakhar Zaman to do wicket-keeping. It was the 48th over of the Zimbabwean innings which was bowled by the Pakistani captain; it was for the first time that Sarfraz was bowling in the International cricket. He did pretty well in his first over as he just conceded 6 runs but in the second over, he was hit for a huge six by the batsman Peter Moor.

The Pakistani captain ended up giving 15 runs in his two overs and became the third wicket-keeper captain to do bowling in ODI after Tatenda Taibu and MS Dhoni. He is the 6th player in the world and the first Pakistani player to bowl in ODI while playing as a wicket-keeper.

MS Dhoni tried his hands in bowling in a match against West Indies in ICC Champions Trophy and also took the wicket of Travis Dowlin.

Here is the video of Peter Moor hitting Sarfraz Ahmed for a six:
