Based on the complaint of victim’s mother, the investigation have begun. The family of the victim from Badaun village says that the two constable saw the girl leaving for washroom at night and in that unfortunate time, they took the advantage and dragged her into their police quarter where they allegedly gang raped her.
This is the second wrecking issue coming from Badaun in UP, where last year two girls were found hanging from a tree, suspected of being raped and hanged alive. And, now on the onset of New Year another hard hitting incident raises some serious questions on the governing body of Uttar Pradesh and their way of tacking safety issues.
The Chief Minister of UP Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, has reportedly demanded serious disciplinary action against the two constables who did the heinous crime. The news of the gang rape has also been re-tweeted in the social media by the office of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister – “#UPCM #Akhileshyadav also instructs that serious disciplinary action be taken against the culprits &all-out efforts to be made to catch them.”
