Shah Rukh Khan Detained At US Airport Once Again & In Frustration, Tweeted This

Recently on Thursday evening, popular B-Town actor and king of romance Shah Rukh had been taken into custody at Los Angeles airport by the US immigration officials as they wanted answers to their questions from him. Well, it’s not the first time when SRK has been held at a US airport as the actor has gone through the similar situation two times previously as well!

King Khan expressed his frustration over the same when he tweeted,

Nevertheless, he found a benefit of this detention too meanwhile as Shah Rukh “caught some really nice Pokemons” during waiting period.

Previously, SRK had been held for about 2 to 3 hours at New York airport in the year 2012 for which “profound” apologies were expressed by US customs and border protection officials too. Lately SRK stated in a media interaction that he did not have any grudges against the authorities; however, the situation made him uncomfortable as he had to wait for such a long time for absolutely no reason!

Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, US Department of State, Nisha Biswal apologized to King Khan with a tweet:

Another official apologized too:

And King Khan in turn tweeted:

Recalling his detention in April 2012, the actor stated, “It just was very uncomfortable. To land up somewhere and getting stuck in an airport for 2-3 hours for no reason at all.”

SRK is of the opinion that this issue must be seen in a larger context; in his words, “God forbid if there was a problem in India, I would be the first to say that we have to strengthen our security. One has to see it in a larger context, it’s a sign of the times. The world is that kind of place… you cannot hold grudges against people. We have to live with it and just be prepared for some of this stuff.”

SRK further added that the person having the similar name who was on the Unite States’ lookout list is finally found, therefore, the actor will not be having any problem in travelling now! This is what he stated, “Now I’ve been told that that gentleman has been found out. He’s off that list so I’m off the list.”

Well, Shah Rukh had been held by US immigration department at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport in the year 2009 too, as a computer alert list showed his name.

Poor SRK!

We hope that he doesn’t have to face such an unfavorable situation again!
