The whole nation was shaken when the multi-talented and versatile actor Irrfan Khan took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote about being diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. It was indeed a shocking news for his fans who have been praying for the actor’s good health and life.

This is definitely a tough journey but his family has always been by his side and it is the biggest source of motivation for Irrfan at the present time. However, apart from his family members and fans, there is a Bollywood superstar who has tried to help him a lot in this difficult phase of life.
We are talking about none other than Shah Rukh Khan who spent quality time with Irrfan before he left for London. According to SpotboyE’s report, Irrfan’s wife Sutapa called SRK and informed him that Irrfan wished to meet him prior to leaving for London.
SRK was in a close proximity at that time and he quickly reached the Mumbai residence of the “Blackmail” actor. They talked for around two hours and enjoyed some quality moments.
In the meantime, SRK surprised Irrfan and his wife by giving them the keys of his London apartment. Not only he offered the keys to the couple but also insisted them to accept it as he wished that the ailing actor and his family members feel at home in a foreign land.
This was his way of helping a friend in need and it has made us respect him more than ever!
The “Hindi Medium” actor talked about his ‘terrifying’ experiences after being diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. Here’s what he revealed in an interaction,
“In this chaos, shocked, afraid and in panic, while on one of the terrifying hospital visits, I blabber to my son, ‘The only thing I expect from ME is not to face this crisis in this present state. I desperately need my feet. Fear and panic should not overrule me and make me miserable’.”
