Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the longest running show of the Indian television but for some time now, it has been in the center of controversy as many actors have been leaving the serial. After Dayaben, Tappu, Sodhi, Anjali Mehta, now Taarak Mehta aka Shailesh Lodha has also quit the show and actor Sachin Shroff has replaced him.
As Shailesh Lodha was associated with TMKOC from the beginning, it will be very difficult for viewers to accept anyone else in the role of Taarak Mehta but the makers believe in the old saying, “The Show Must Go On”.
While Shailesh Lodha has never opened up on the matter of leaving TMKOC and the reasons behind it, the producer Asit Modi has once said in an interview that those who feel they have done a lot and now they should do something else are leaving the show, however he adds that he has tried his best to stop those who are leaving or have left but they have their own priorities.
Recently, actor Shailesh Lodha who is a very famous poet as well shared a poem on his Instagram Story in which he has not taken anybody’s name but his fans feel that he has taken a dig at the producer Asit Modi after Sachin Shroff is brought on TMKOC as his replacement.

Mera hi chehra sab se bada ho
Yaar tum kitne asurakshit aur dare ho

If we talk about viewers, majority of them are not happy with new Taarak Mehta and they want the old one back, some are so frustrated that they are asking the makers to shut down the show instead of ruining a good show.
