The Indian government has released the list of prestigious Padma Awardees, which includes seven Padma Vibhushans, out of which four will be awarded to political leaders. The politicians who are in the list are BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi, Chief of NCP Sharad Pawar and posthumously to ex-chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Sunderlal Patwa and former Lok Sabha Speaker and Meghalaya chief minister P A Sangma.
Twitter has already started expressing its opinion on Sharad Pawar being awarded as the second highest civilian award of the country as there are many who are not happy with this decision of the government. Sharad Pawar is definitely one of the most influential political leaders of India but as far as the public belief goes, he is also one of the most corrupt politicians of the country who knows how to show himself innocent in front of the law.
