Indian defeated South Africa & picked the trophy, thereby making all Indians proud. In the match that was played yesterday, India defeated the hosts by 73 runs.
It was an interesting match & we loved to see Rohit smash a whopping 115. Even Kuldeep Yadav bowled really well; he gave 51 runs and took 4 wickets.
Fielding was not that good, some easy catches were dropped; however, Pandya displayed a great performance and grabbed eyeballs with his efforts.
He took a 1-hand catch and impressed one and all. This was in the 42nd over when Shamsi attempted a 6 at Kuldeep Yadav’s full length delivery. Instead of it going for a 6, the ball went towards the long-on region.
Shikhar Dhawan ran towards the ball, but at that very time, Hardik Pandya came in the picture and took a single-hand catch.
No one expected Pandya to come there and take the catch; he surprised the commentators as well. They almost collided but luckily, Pandya was successful in taking the catch.
