Shoot-Out At Gurgaon, Flying SUV Kills 1 Auto-Rickshaw Driver

The crime scene in Gurgaon is on a rise, at least the recent incident just proves so. Unidentified men did open firing on road in M.G Road at Gurgaon, resulting to which the SUV car of the gangster strike an auto, leading to the death of auto-rickshaw driver. Although the SUV driver survived a few bullet injuries.

As per the reports, three men fired at the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV carrying Rakesh Kumar, an alleged gangster of Hayatpur village, at around 9 am on Wednesday. To escape from firing, the SUV driver jumped the road divider, and hit an auto-rickshaw, and literally flattened it, as result of which the driver was declared dead by a nearby hospital. The accident caused a huge traffic in M.G Road during the peak hours of the day.

“We have arrested the accused and an investigation is on. This seems to be a case of gang-war,” said Ramesh Pal, assistant commissioner of police (crime).

“We heard gunfire and suddenly saw a car flying after breaking the divider and landing on an auto-rickshaw. The drivers of both vehicles were rushed to hospital,” said an eyewitness.
