Ayushmann Khurrana has become one of the most sought actors of Bollywood as of now as he has given many back to back hits and his latest release “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” is also being liked by audiences. The movie also stars Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in the important roles and is directed by Hitesh Kewalya.
The movie’s journey on the box-office started in a pretty good manner as its opening collections were Rs 9.55 crore, which further increased on the weekend as the film earned Rs 11.08 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.03 crore on Sunday. Talking about the earnings of the flick on weekday, i.e., on Monday, it minted Rs 3.87 crore.
As far as the fifth day collections of “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” are concerned, the movie earned Rs 3.07 crore on Tuesday, totaling the amount to Rs 39.60 crore.
Day 1 – Rs 9.55crore
Day 2 – Rs 11.08 crore
Day 3 – Rs 12.03 crore
Day 4 – Rs 3.87 crore
Day 5 – Rs 3.07 crore
Total – Rs 39.60 crore

“Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” is based on the controversial subject of the same gender marriage and Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar are playing the roles of lovers. While the apex court has decriminalised the same gender relationship, this topic is still a taboo in the Indian society so making a film on such a topic is definitely a courageous task. This is not the first time that Ayushmann has chosen a controversial topic as earlier also, he played a character who donated sp*rm while in another flick, he portrayed a person who was suffering with the problem of er*ctile d*sfunction and recently in one movie, he played the character of a man who was losing hair at a young age.
Considering the fact that “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” stars Ayushmann Khurrana and it is based on a quite unique subject, the collections are expected to grow further.
