The cricket lovers get to witness some great unorthodox cricketing stuff in the match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans which was played yesterday at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The MI batter Suryakumar Yadav took his 360 degree batting to another level in yesterday’s match as he played a blistering knock of 103 runs not out (49 balls, 11 fours & 6 sixes) and helped his team in winning the match by 27 runs.

Though SKY played many unorthodox shots, the one which left many in awe was the one which he played for six of Mohammed Shami. It was the 19th over of the MI innings, Mohammed Shami bowled around off and SKY played it with open face of the willow, though it looked as it would go over cover yet it went over the third man for a six.

Even the God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar was impressed with the shot and he tried to make Piyush Chawla understand the shot with his hand gesture. Here is the video:

Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and praised SKY for the superb shot, Little Master tweeted, “@surya_14kumar lit up the evening sky today! He played excellent shots through the innings but the one that stood out for me was the 6 over third man off @MdShami11. The way he opened the face of the bat to create that angle off the blade at the same time is very very tough to do and not many batters in world cricket can play that shot” with blue heart emoji.

SKY was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his superb batting performance, MI put up a total of 218/5 on the score board in their stipulated 20 overs but GT could manage only 191/8 and lost the match by 27 runs.

Undoubtedly, SKY is playing at a different level.
