Deserts, Heat and Sand Storm always go hand in hand. It would never happen that you speak the word “Desert” and your mind doesn’t imagine these things.
But this world and life is full of possibilities and anything can happen here. So a rare sight happened in Sahara desert recently as it saw *hold your breath* a snowfall.
The most important thing here is that this snowfall didn’t happen for the small duration but for long and it was as good as a Winter Storm.
It is being said that the same winds that brought the cold wave in the US in December might be the reason of this snowfall.
All this has covered the Sahara Desert into a beautiful white village which has a snow layer as thick as a foot to 16 inches. Interestingly, this is just 3rd time in the last 40 years that the desert has received a snowfall like this.
