Fury and ire were sparked with the revelation made by a documentary entitled “India’s Daughter” on the subject of mindset few individuals still possess in India. What added to it is the decision taken by the govt of banning it from being aired.
In our country, people often discuss about the ways of preventing rapes as well as objectification of women by Bollywood and not to forget, their representation as society’s repressed creatures. However, I would like to ask a question at this point, ‘Do we ever think about how a rapist is born?’ Probably NO or very few people contemplate over this essential aspect which is one of the major factors to put an end to rapes. Are these the society and life which gradually teach men to be dominant and make all the possible attempts to hide such mistakes saying, “Ladko Se Galtiya Ho Jati Hain”?
There is no denying the fact that Indian daughters are sometimes suppressed but don’t you think that sons of the country too are nurtured with wrong things?
