Sonu Nigam, the Indian playback singer is one of the most loved and most popular singers of the world and his fan following is not just limited to India but people from all across the world adore him as well. Recently, Sonu Nigam sang a song, “Sun Zara” which has been composed by DJ Sheizwood, written by Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) and it has been produced by T-Series.
Just after the release of the song, the Pakistani musician Khiza made allegations of plagiarism on the team of “Sun Zara” and claimed that the song is a copy of his 2009 released song “Aey Khuda” which was sung by Omer Nadeem.
Now, the Indian singer Sonu Nigam has reacted to the allegations and also revealed the reason behind singing this song despite the fact that he doesn’t sing for everyone. Sonu Nigam made a comment on Omer Nadeem’s Instagram account in which he stated that he has got nothing to do with the matter related to plagiarism and he sang the song just because KRK who is his neighbour in Dubai requested him to do so despite the fact that he doesn’t sing for everyone. He also made it clear that if he had heard Omer’s song, he wouldn’t have sung it.
Sonu Nigam wrote, “Just so you all know, I have nothing to do with this. I was requested to do the song by KRK (Kamaal R Khan), who is my neighbour in Dubai. And then couldn’t refuse him, even though I don’t sing for everyone. If I had heard Omer’s version, I would have never sung it.”
Omer Nadeem also showed respect to Sonu Nigam and said that he agrees with him and he never said that it is he (Sonu Nigam) who did this. Omer Nadeem also added that he is not in the mood to indulge in conversation with the people who are really behind it because it is of no use.
Sonu Nigam responded by praising Omer Nadeem and by accepting that Omer has sung the song in a better manner than him and he also apologized for not hearing Omer’s song earlier. In reply, Omer stated that what Sonu said means a lot to him and added that he believes that Sonu Nigam is the most melodious and versatile singer of the present times.
Omer Nadeem posted the screenshots of the comments and their conversations on his Instagram account with the caption, “I’m humbled and honored” with heart emoji.
